Due to increased market demand Transfennica inaugurates one additional sailing from Lübeck to St. Petersburg with effect from 30 October 2007, the company’s press center reports. In total there will be three calls per week to the Ro-Ro terminal in Petrolesport. This will strengthen our position as one of the main shipping lines in the European and Russian markets and will enhance our service both to present and new customers. In addition to the present service with calls on Mondays and Wednesdays the third sailing will be introduced on Fridays.

This will offer our customers an improved service combined with increased carrying capacity in the Baltic area with further connection to St. Petersburg. Transfennica is a European shipping company with fast scheduled liner services. The company’s fleet comprises 14 advanced multi-purpose Ro-Ro vessels, providing the shortest transit times ever between the continent and Finland.
